Arrived yesterday (8/1/17) to check into a cabin we had planned on renting for the week. Upon arriving there was no information for us as to where our cabin was at their "office", we did finally find it, however it hadn't been cleaned. We tried contacting the owner and to do so we had to drive back into town to get cell service. She made it seem like it was an inconvenience for her to have to get someone to come clean since she wasn't even around...she was in Ashland for the day. The website was also very misleading, we had planned on staying in the brown trout cabin which was across the street from the beach. Not overly a big deal minus the fact there is a giant house in the way of the beach and you cannot even see the lake. The beach itself is nice but has a shared fire ring between 3 cabins. We are not planning on coming back, and would not recommend bog lake outfitters to anyone we know. Save yourself the hassle and stay with Madeline Island Vacations they have a much nicer outfit for cheaper and rooms with air conditioning and WiFi for those interested in that.
