Please mind that bikes are not allowed on park trails: you are invited to leave them in the racks, so ask for a lock.

Best part of our trip! We took mopeds out to Big Bay State Park, it was a really fun drive- right by the lake! All bikes and mopeds have a state park pass so you can drive right in. We spend some time at the scenic overlook, which was an incredible view. Its $28 per hour for a moped, but so worth it. They provide helmets and eye wear and they are great about teaching you to ride. They allow you to go practice in the parking lot and if you don't feel comfortable driving they won't charge you. It is clear they are concerned about your safety. Awesome experience!
Renting mopeds at least once is a must for both tourists and locals. Must have a driver's license. $28 an hour. Something fun to try if you never have before!!
Great experience for those that are new to using a moped.
Most of the people goes to Big Bay Park (as suggested by the bike renter): consider at least 3h if you want to go there and make the Point Trail path that goes along the shoreline.
